About This Project

As a part of an internal marketing campaign at VGS / Studio D, to go along with major speaking engagements inspired by revivalism and quality, Back to the Basics was created. As an overall theme to guide the speaking engagement, I created artwork for truly unique promotional items that would be given away to high level executives from the top fast casual restaurants. The items included a limited edition Crosley portable turntable, cardboard packaging, and a 7″ record sleeve for the vintage records to be played on the custom silkscreened turntable’s. The concept of Back to the Basics was used as inspiration for the artwork and the idea of less is more rang true to achieve the aesthetic of timeless quality goods.
